When Westfield Century City set out to increase the visual impact of a large digital advertising screen above an escalator, the team wanted to turn the surrounding wall into an attention-grabbing design feature. To give the installation greater presence, they partnered with Unreal Designs to create a custom artificial living wall.
The entire wall behind the screen was covered with lush, layered greenery, transforming a plain surface into a dramatic visual backdrop. The finished installation now naturally draws shoppers’ eyes toward the display as they ride down the escalator, helping the advertising stand out while adding color, texture, and energy to the mall.
