The Chattanooga Hotel
“ From Plain White Brick to Picture-Perfect Green.”
The "Before"
Plain white space

A beautiful mural gave one side of the space plenty of color and personality, but the long white brick wall beside it remained plain and disconnected. The contrast made the area feel unfinished and kept the mural from achieving its full visual impact. Covering the neighboring wall with ficus paneling created a more cohesive setting and gave the artwork a stronger backdrop.

The "After"
LAYERS OF FICUS

As it hits the wall, the Ficus paneling reveals a dense arrangement of layered leaves in varied shades of green. The realistic texture and fullness conceal the brick beneath, creating the appearance of a lush, beautifully maintained hedge that adds dimension and natural character to the space.

The "After"
THE FINISHED TRANSFORMATION

The completed ficus wall transformed the once-plain brick surface into a vibrant green feature. Its rich color and texture complement the neighboring mural, making the artwork pop while giving the entire area a more polished, intentional, and finished appearance.

“We already loved the mural, but the plain white wall next to it made the space feel unfinished. The greenery completely brought everything together—and now the mural stands out even more.”
