Texas Open Concept
“Estate-Level Privacy, Redefined.”
The "Before"
Wide Open Views Into the Yard

The home’s open layout extended seamlessly into the backyard, but neighboring properties had clear views of the pool, spa, and lounging areas through the wrought iron fence. While the outdoor space was beautifully designed for relaxation and entertaining, the lack of privacy made it feel exposed and less tranquil than intended.

The "After"
A Natural Enclosures

To enhance privacy without sacrificing the home’s open feel, we installed dense, leafed greenery along the entire outer fence line, fully enclosing the property’s perimeter and around the spa again. The layered foliage creates a thick, natural screen that shields the pool and backyard from neighboring views while still allowing airflow and light to pass through. By wrapping the space in lush greenery from end to end, the outdoor areas now feel more intimate, protected, and resort-like.

The "Before"
A Standard, Forgettable Ceiling

The outdoor dining and relaxation areas were bordered by large, blank walls that felt stark and uninspired. While the layout of the space was ideal for gathering and entertaining, the plain vertical surfaces lacked warmth, texture, and visual interest. Instead of enhancing the ambiance, the empty walls made the space feel flat and incomplete, missing the inviting character you’d expect from a thoughtfully designed backyard retreat.

The "After"
A Tropical Welcome That Sets the Tone

Today, those once-blank walls have been completely transformed with decorative cross-hatched greenery panels that form elegant diamond patterns across the surface. The vine-inspired design adds depth, texture, and architectural interest, turning flat walls into intentional focal points. Complemented by lush living wall sections, the space now feels layered and vibrant—bringing softness, movement, and a refined garden aesthetic to the outdoor dining and relaxation areas.

"The difference is night and day. What used to feel exposed and plain now feels like a private resort. The greenery along the fence gives us total privacy around the pool, and the diamond vine walls add so much character. It finally feels finished — and we actually want to spend all our time out here."
